The Bhartiya railways are now experimenting with the Push-Pull technology on Conventional coach trains as it saves time on Loco reversal and also two locomotives help in quick acceleration. It is also an advantage for the new crew to quickly get into the locomotive. This in turn reduces the halt time at Railway stations and platforms can be made free for the next train quickly.

भारतीय रेलवे में पुश-पुल तकनीक क्या है?
भारतीय रेलवे अब पारंपरिक कोच ट्रेनों पर पुश-पुल तकनीक का प्रयोग कर रही है, क्योंकि इससे लोको रिवर्सल पर समय की बचत होती है और दो लोकोमोटिव त्वरित त्वरण में भी मदद करते हैं।
यह नए चालक दल के लिए शीघ्रता से लोकोमोटिव में जाने का एक फायदा भी है। यह बदले में रेलवे स्टेशनों पर ठहराव के समय को कम करता है और प्लेटफार्मों को अगली ट्रेन के लिए जल्दी से खाली कर देता है।
