Where is situated India’s first toy manufacturing cluster?
India’s first toy manufacturing cluster to coming up in Bhanapur village of Koppal district in Karnataka. Koppal district is located 380 km away from Bengaluru, 400 km from Hyderabad, 95 km from Hubballi, and 215 km from Belagavi. Koppal district also has a well-connected railway network closer to main cities like Mumbai, Goa, Mangaluru, Visakhapatnam, Chennai, and Thoothukudi.
Chief Minister B.S. Yediyurappa said that the toy manufacturing cluster will contain over 100 units with the potential to generate 25,000 to 30,000 direct jobs and over one lakh jobs indirectly. We aim to make Koppal the country’s toy-making hub by promoting this toy art.
This toy manufacturing campus is being promoted by Aequs SEZ Pvt Ltd. The construction of the campus is expected to be completed by December this year 2021.

आपको याद होगा की मन की बात में प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने भारत को दुनिया का ‘खिलौना ( टाॅय) हब’ बनाने का आव्हान किया था। उसी बात को आगे बढ़ाते हुए प्रधान मंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने वोकल फॉर लोकल ’और आत्मनिर्भार भारत को आगे बढ़ाते हुए, और खिलौना निर्माण को बढ़ावा देने के लिए, कर्नाटक के कोप्पला जिले में भारत का पहला खिलौना विनिर्माण क्लस्टर बनाने काम शुरू किया है। कोप्पल जिला में पहले से ही किन्नला जैसे पारंपरिक खिलौने बनाने की परंपरा है।
भारत का पहला खिलौना विनिर्माण क्लस्टर कहाँ स्थित है?
कर्नाटक में कोप्पल जिले के भानपुर गाँव में आने वाला भारत का पहला खिलौना विनिर्माण क्लस्टर। कोप्पल जिला बेंगलुरु से 380 किमी, हैदराबाद से 400 किमी, हुबली से 95 किमी और बेलगावी से 215 किमी दूर स्थित है। कोप्पल जिले में मुंबई, गोवा, मंगलुरु, विशाखापत्तनम, चेन्नई और थूथुकुडी जैसे मुख्य शहरों के करीब एक अच्छी तरह से जुड़ा हुआ रेलवे नेटवर्क है।
कर्नाटक के मुख्यमंत्री ने बी.एस. येदियुरप्पा ने कहा कि खिलौना निर्माण क्लस्टर में 100 से अधिक इकाइयाँ होंगी जिनमें 25,000 से 30,000 प्रत्यक्ष रोजगार और एक लाख से अधिक नौकरियां अप्रत्यक्ष रूप से उत्पन्न होंगी। हम इस खिलौना कला को बढ़ावा देकर कोप्पल को देश का खिलौना बनाने का केंद्र बनाना चाहते हैं।
इस खिलौना निर्माण परिसर का प्रचार-प्रसार Aequs SEZ Pvt Ltd. द्वारा किया जा रहा है। और इस मैन्युफैक्चरिंग परिसर का निर्माण दिसंबर 2021 तक पूरा होने की उम्मीद है।
