On 6th January 2021, The Himachal Pradesh Government and the Nagson Developers signed A Memorandum of Understanding in presence of Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur.
The Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur said the Project would boost tourism and adventure sports round-the-year in the Kufri area and also generate economic activities in Shimla and the adjoining area.
The owner of Nagsons Developers, Nishant Nag said the project was designed by the Infinity Design Studio Mumbai and would be executed by Unlimited Snow, Netherlands, makers of Ski Dubai and Ski Egypt.
What is SKI Park?
It is a field or park made of ice or covered with ice Which has different areas or facilities for entertainment. Where skiers, snowboarders, and snow bikers have facilities to play /run.
So now you can say that SKI Park / Resorts also available in India.
Things to remember –
- India’s first indoor Ski Park will be available in Kufri (Shimla), Himachal Pradesh.
- The project indoor Ski Park is expected to start in March 2021
- indoor Ski Park in Kufri would become functional by April 2022
- This project will create employment opportunities for about 1000 people.
- The cost of this project will be Rs 250 crore.
- This ski park will be built on 5.04 acres of land.

भारत का पहला इनडोर SKI पार्क कहाँ है?
6 जनवरी 2021 को, हिमाचल प्रदेश सरकार और नगासन डेवलपर्स ने मुख्यमंत्री जय राम ठाकुर की उपस्थिति में एक समझौता ज्ञापन पर हस्ताक्षर किए।
मुख्यमंत्री जय राम ठाकुर ने कहा कि परियोजना से कुफरी क्षेत्र में पर्यटन और साहसिक खेल को बढ़ावा मिलेगा और शिमला और आसपास के क्षेत्र में आर्थिक गतिविधियां भी होंगी।
Nagsons Developers के मालिक, निशांत नाग ने कहा कि यह प्रोजेक्ट Infinity Design Studio मुंबई द्वारा डिज़ाइन किया गया था और इसे अनलिमिटेड स्नो, नीदरलैंड्स द्वारा स्की दुबई और स्की मिस्र के निर्माताओं द्वारा निष्पादित किया जाएगा।
SKI पार्क क्या है?
यह वर्फ से बना हुआ या वर्फ से ढका हुआ एक मैदान या पार्क होता है। जिसमे मनोरंजन के लिए अलग अलग क्षेत्र या सुविधाएं होती है। जहाँ स्कीयर, स्नोबोर्डर्स और स्नो बाइकर्स को चलाने की सुविधाये मिलती है।
याद रखने वाली चीज़ें –
- भारत का पहला इनडोर स्की पार्क कुफरी (शिमला), हिमाचल प्रदेश में होगा।
- परियोजना इनडोर स्की पार्क मार्च 2021 में शुरू होने की उम्मीद है
- अप्रैल 2022 तक कुफरी में इनडोर स्की पार्क कार्यात्मक हो जाएगा।
- इस परियोजना से लगभग 1000 लोगों के लिए रोजगार के अवसर पैदा होंगे।
- इस परियोजना की लागत 250 करोड़ रुपये की होगी।
- यह स्की पार्क 5.04 एकड़ भूमि पर बनाया जायेगा।
